Actions Big and Small Help Us Transition

Our Urban Farms just published a blog about moving through the grief. It is worth checking out. We know from talking to several TL folks that many people experience grief when they let themselves see the scope and scale of the Climate Crisis. Any tips for moving through that grief are most welcomed and helpful!

The crux of the post is that taking control of how we chose to live helps us to feel more empowered and connected. We thought we would share a couple of upcoming opportunities for TL followers to do just that! (Note: you can always check out the Transition Longfellow calendar for more upcoming events. Soon you will have the ability to add your own events, too!)

Tomorrow, Saturday September 14 is Our Urban Farm's Open House. It goes from 11 AM till 4 PM. There will be organic bread samples, fresh-picked organic tea and great conversation about all kinds of Transitioning topics. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, September 18 is the TL Planning Meeting at 6:30 PM at Peace Coffee. TL is in the midst of its own transition (hence all the new activity on our website, etc.). Your participation, therefore, is more welcome now than ever. We hope to see you there.

Attending these kinds of events may seem like small actions. They are not. Each small action makes a difference, helps us to connect and helps us all to be more prepared for what the future will bring. We hope to see you soon!
