Creating Indoor Energy-Independent Food Forests
Updated: Feb 23, 2021

Dan Bostan has spent years working to perfect an energy-independent greenhouse that would allow him to grow fruits and vegetables from hardiness zones in much warmer climates. His approach is interesting, low-cost and effective and provides opportunity for communities in cold climates to begin growing all kinds of foods locally that would otherwise not be possible. You can get a preview of his work on his YouTube video at: https://youtu.be/lnmpeYFBm54
On Wednesday, March 10, we will kick off the 2021 Transition on Tap season by interviewing Dan from his home in Quebec. The interview will be live via Zoom and all are invited to join in. We will talk to Dan about his work and then open it up for questions. We hope to see you there! Details and information are available here.
