An enthusiastic group of transition oriented individuals came together on Wednesday night, October 9th for a two-hour vibrant conversation on various transition topics. The evening brought together folks from various transition oriented groups and interests, including Transition Longfellow. Organized by Leslie Mackenzie, and hosted by CoCreatz at their West University Avenue based meeting space in St Paul, the evening was facilitated by Deborah Benham from Totnes, England of the Global Transition Network.
Deborah shared some highlights of her work in the transition movement as well as her new roles within the Global Transition Network. The dialog focused on several themes centered around building bridges between diverse communities, supporting individuals as well as ourselves through change and grief, and creating system change and regenerative culture without having a formal leadership role. Individuals in attendance shared personal stories of work within the transition movement as well as areas of interest within the general topic of climate driven cultural change.
Huge thanks to everybody who attended and to the many folks who helped to make this vibrant meeting happen.
